ZirconTech worked for a leading homes intelligence platform provider, that brings technology to improve comfort through multiple device integration impacting the management of air, light, water, sound and overall health and wellness.
The ZirconTech team worked on the creation of a bus to integrate different smart homes devices. The internet of things (IoT) framework was developed with NodeJS using TCP, UDP, UPnP protocols and network discovery, integrating with SmartThings, Sonos devices, QMotion and Hunter Douglas.

ZirconTech connected the IoT bus with Sonos devices, setting up and implementing integration methods, including a translation logic to integrate the platform and Sonos’ commands. With this, the platform can send commands to Sonos devices to perform actions. Through an SDK integration, were implemented calls to interact with Sonos devices to play, pause, stop, change to last/next track, set a playlist or a radio selection, change the volume or mute, among other features.
